Okay, I just have to know...did you set up that shot?
Sure! It's looking North on our active ex-Illionis Central now Canadian National line. One of many railroads that aided in the migration North to Memphis, St. Louis, and Chicago. It is also Faulkner's head. ;D
Maggie I never knew that Faulkner had lost his head ! LOL
Well, Miss Maggie, you're even more awesome than I already knew...I love that photo!
So, where did you get Faulkner's head? Just curious. :)
Unfortunatly, Faulkner was an alcoholic Paul. He spent loads of time in the Byhalia Sanatorium drying out in his later years, so, in a sense he did lose his head. My co-workers said I should have laid him down with his head across the rail, and then ran a ransom notice. ;)
Thanks Debi! Faulkner will be traveling the highways with us this summer to add a little different perspective.
Bookfool it was (70s?) a promotional deal with a library jobber called Gale. I also have Twain!
Whoo hoo! Let the summer officially begin!
Yay, Diane! And, I'm about to have hubby draw...

I'll let you know when I announce them, Sharon, and thanks for playing the "Name the Homeplace" Contest.
