Book Report Due June 15!

First review time and Jill and Scrap Girl are ready!
To help with the conversation try to do a specific url on Mister Linky.
What?!?
Chill, it is real easy to do. Click the title of the post and a unique web address will appear in the www area. Copy and paste the address into Mister Linky and Timbo is your uncle! On June 15, I will choose a random number for pecans! Good Luck! Oh, and please visit the other reviewers. ;)

  1. I tossed in an extra book - I know I can't limit myself to just the 3 books I had listed!

  2. That's perfectly okay, Lynne; especially, after the dud you slogged through! Two chances to win, yahoo! :D

  4. I'm not paying attention to due dates or rules! I tossed in an extra book too! Will probably do the same on Second Review. But I'll be good on the Third Review.

  11. I read Sights Unseen by Kaye Gibbons. I liked it, but did not love it.

  12. I'm including Warm Springs - although it's only sort of Southern because Warm Springs is in Georgia. Great memoir, though.

  13. Gautami - Pace yourself gurl! Should I have a most Southern Books Read Contest? :D

I've not read this Gibbons, Stacy. I look forward to your thoughts! :)

Yippee! I'm so happy for those that read this book, Mary! I can't wait to read your review. :)

I loved Warm Springs and she spends quite a bit of time at the camp, Suzi. My second grade teacher had polio as a child, and wore the braces all her life. I remember hugging them on a day I felt vunerable. The amazing thing that I didn't realize at the time 73-74, she was also black. Can you imagine her struggle?!?

And read as many of the other reviews as possible. I am afraid my wish list will grow out of control ;o) I got all the books I want now for the challenge, now we'll see if I can manage to read them all.
