Look at all the Grishams! I also see a lot of weight loss - which I’ve read - and business books. I can tell by this list that I'm not reading as many new Oprah books, either. Which ones have you read? Any on your TBR pile?

I always have a terrible time with formatting these things, so I'm not going to do it but I'm surprised at how many of those books I've read. They've sucked me in!! Okay, not too badly, but you know . . .

hey there! Thanks for your comment at my place.. I can't remember exactly how I found your blog, but I think it was a search for something.. I'm gonna look back thru my history and try to remember.. this is a great list of books, I've read some of them. I liked Into Thin Air very much, anything by Jon Krakauer is a good choice.

oh I think it was a search for Oregon something.. I had landed on your "The Shack" post.

The diet books sucked my stomach in many times, Bookfool! I wonder how my results would stand if this happened to be the New York Times Top Selling Books of the last 25 years. I'm afraid not as well.

Shelby - I do thank you for the shout out, and stopping by to answer my question. Blogging connections fascinate me. I'm working on getting our school blog noticed, and your answer is perfect. Write about the thing people are talking about, not rocket science just common sense. TY :)

I think that I have read 27 and parts of other ones...some I just could not bring myself to finish. There are more Grisham on there than expected...but he is good.

maggie moran said...

Clair - I knew he was popular, but look at all the titles. I'm embarrassed that I have only read the short ones! :)

Thanks for playing, Cipriano! You have a lite touch of fantasy, business, and modern Oprah. Good choices!

Amanda said...

I haven't nearly as many on this list as I would have thought. I tend to like too many Southern authors. Besides, not an Oprah Book Club fan. You MUST MUST MUST read Catcher in the Rye and Angel and Demons. Catcher because it is one of my favorites of all times and Angels and Demons because it is so much better than DiVinci Code.

maggie moran said...

Thanks for the titles, Amanda! I was just looking at Catcher in the Rye this morning! I'll put iton my summer or really cold weather read list. :D

Wow, I haven't read that many. I can't get over how many Grisham novels there are. I posted my list here: http://debbiesworld.wordpress.com/2008/12/03/usa-today-meme-top-selling-books-of-the-last-15-years/.

If I counted right I have read 35 on the list. It would be interesting to know if our library system owns all of them. My list is here:

Wow! You done good, Dixie! I got to add Twilight and I forgot to bold The Devil in the White City so I'm past 80! I really need to read my Grishams! :P
