Maggie, I'm going to check out "Actual Size" tomorow and pretend I'm a Polar Bear. . .but I'm also picking up Petite Rouge: A Cajun Red Riding Hood by Mike Artell . . . I think it's my favorite read aloud, and it's SOUTHERN! And when I DO become the story time lady, I'll read that aloud FIRST!! (I'll have to get a Croc costume for that one!) Have a great weekend!

That's right! Keep it within the challenge theme!

I guess Polar Bear Polar Bear What do You Hear? is old hat in Alaska? That should have been my suggestion. Actual Size has a grizzly paw in it, if I'm not mistaken.

Wonder if you could combine your love of reading in the tub with storytime? They could call you the Reading Mermaid Lady! ;D

Nice find on the pecan ale,
And I tagged you for a meme. www.andilit.com/?p=166

Enjoy it if you'd like; ignore it if you wouldn't.

Pecan ale?

It should have been a turtle; sorry for the lack of proofreading, but I was on vacation and didn't have a secretary handy!

I've not tried it, Sage. I was hunting around for artwork when I ran across this and other specialty ales. I also got a recipe for a pecan pie martini, yuck!

Ya left me hanging on a technicallity! :) Ah, now I wish it was a roach...

Get the Abita while you can.

There will be a price increaes the next year, due to the higher prices of hops and barley and transportation.

Ain't that the truth WW100! We took faulkner out to the cotton fields and most were filled with wheat! Looks like the south is preparing for a food shortage.
