Okay, taking a deep breath, will email you my pic/painting. Mr. Linky and I are having relationship problems.
lol - Susie. I'm sure by the time you have your sense of place posted Mr.Linky will be out of the doghouse.
I'll have to see if I can find a good one!
You can do it UTMommy. I have faith! :)
This is sooooo much fun.
Now if only I could find a
"company-owned" mill town village as described by Rick. (I don't think they exist anymore,
company-owned or not.) I remembered this culvert in Lineboro, Maryland (about five miles from my house) that I explored years ago with my nieces and daughter one hot summer day.
Stella - What about a shot of some factory houses? I run across those a lot when traveling. I'm glad you are having fun! :)
I just added a pic to a quotation that I used in my first review, because I had been discussing just that - the authors wonderful ability to transport the reader "into" her story....
hope that's acceptable.
Of Course, Mo! Thanks for playing!
Well, it didn't take me as long as I thought to find a passage that lent itself to a distinct photo. I've tried my hand at it!
Good luck Patti! I'll head over to see if it is different from the Ballad at the Sad Cafe. ;)
what a fun contest, I'm enjoying looking at the entries!
Yay, hope you do one TXMommy. :)
I finally found a great painting!
Hey Maggie, I took a little ride this afternoon and shot some pictures for the contest.
Yay Gautami! :)
Yippe, Nan! :)
