I had fun with this challenge. I still have a bunch more Southern books to read!
So much fun, and so many good books added to the list.
Thanks Maggie
I think this was my favorite challenge so far this year! Thanks for hosting Maggie...I have discovered a whole slew of new authors!
I have finished Mockingbird (my third book), but I haven't had time to write the review. I'll try to do that this weekend!
In the meantime, best wishes for the on-task folks in the drawing!
And, Maggie, thank you thank you for hosting this! It was so much fun.
A fun challenge - thanks so much for hosting it, Maggie!
I really enjoyed the challenge! I found a lot of new Southern authors to read! The three books I read are
Sweet Hush by Deborah Smith
Ladder of Years by Anne Tyler
Outer Banks by Anne Rivers Siddons
I also read Bobbie Faye's Very (very, very, very) Bad Day by Toni McGee Causey.
I'm finished! Thanks so much for the fun challenge. I'm hanging on to my list in case you host it again next summer.
This was such a neat challenge! Thanks for hosting it. :)
I am so excited I finished the challenge!
Last night...nothing like the last minute...I finished GWTW.
BTW, I never did get my pecan treat, should I have gotten it by now. I did mail my address, did you get it?
And...are you going to do another challenge??
~Rebecca :)
Thanks for the challenge, Maggie.
I intend to write about The Unvanquished later this weekend, once I get over the worst of my cold, but I did the Mr. Linky so that I could have a chance in the drawing.
Thanks for hosting this one, Maggie - it was great fun and helped me reduce my TBR mountain by three additional books this summer!!
Thank you for hosting this great challenge, Maggie. You did a wonderful job with it and I've come away with a longer wish list. :-)
Thank you also for the copy of Plain Heathen Mischief. It arrived safely in the mail. :-)
Maggie-
Just had to pop in to say "thank you" for hosting this! I hate to admit it but I'm only about half way through my third book. (I posted my "concession speech" yesterday. I will be finishing my last book, just not by the deadline.) But I have enjoyed this challenge so much! I never would have read The Secret Life of Bees if not for you. That alone is an amazing gift!
Thanks again, Maggie!
My final book was The Old Man and the Boy
Great challenge, Maggie! I've enjoyed being a part of it very much, and I am LOVING the pecans!
I have been reading Faulkner until bedtime yesterday, but I completed the challenge (just in time). Thanks for hosting it, and thanks for the pecans!
This was my first challenge. I'm new to blogging and this was such a fun way to connect and start off! It was great to discover Maggie Reads, find other book blog sites, and add to my list of potential to-be-reads (TBRs). Thank you Maggie!
Maggie - I so got behind on reading my books! I really thought that taking a break from blogging for 6 weeks would allow me more time to read! Ha! Now that I am back in the "blogging world" - guess I need to start reading my books for additional inspiration and blogging subjects, huh? Ha! Hope you had a great summer!
Thank you again for hosting this challenge, Maggie. I had a lot of fun with it and I discovered great new authors.
Maggie, thanks for the 'tug on the leg' to get me going. I have so enjoyed the books I've read. Looking forward to this challenge next year. Hope you're thinking of doing it again.
Ugh, I was one short! August really got away from me - I can't believe September's here already!
Ah well, I had fun, and I still plan on reading the other books I had picked for this challenge - maybe when you host it again next year?
Thanks for a fun challenge, Maggie!
To borrow from CS Lewis, "We read to know we are not alone." I just stumbled across your page and will be keeping tabs. From one author and reader to another, cheers for spreading the words.
This was a great challenge, Maggie. I really enjoyed it! Here's the link to my review of my 3rd challenge read:

Went ahead and linked to my belated review! Thanks again for the challenge!
