I came out as O'Conner too, which is intersting 'cause I thought the way I answered the questions I would be Hemingway or Faulkner (but in both cases there was at least one question where I would have been different than one of them)
That's funny, Sage! The last question, I thought, was a dead ringer for O'Connor. The answer is something like, "I'm looking for one good man." But, that's not true in all cases. I mean, I got Anne Rice when I answered the "folklore, ghost story" as being a nice home along with "one good man."
This quiz must be rigged. I got her as well. I'd love to hear which option Sage picked for his ideal mate. I hope it wasn't the 'one good man' option. :-)
Maybe it's not rigged...I got Jane Austen. Fun stuff. And re: your last post...after reading lots and lots of heavy, Jane Austen-ish literature in college, I would always have what I called a "summer of trash," reading only one classic and filling the rest of the time with Danielle Steel, John Grisham and People magazine. Everyone needs a break!
Ah, thanks Tiffany, for breaking the O'Connor code. It's funny but I feel guilty reading any fiction, fun or work. It's like I can hear someone nagging, "shouldn't you be doing the laundry." :D With NF, I can proudly display the book as textbook and claim I'm not wasting my time, I'm learning something.
Too funny, Iliana! I starting to believe we should form a club with special events for those random folks who's results varied. Maybe, they could be the guest speakers - -"How to get someone other than Flannery O'Connor." :D
Anne Rice is writing my life. Wonderful. I adore Anne Rice and have read tons and tons of her stuff...more than any other author actually. (I have a thing for vampires)

I really thought you were messin' wid me! This is uncanny, Maggie!
I'm taking the quiz again, 'cause I don't even remember the questions you mention.

Told ya, JenClair! Na-na-na-na-na... :P I'm a lucky girl-she haunts me literarally and physically. :)
Murf, I'm beginning to think it rigged, too. That or we just have the same taste?!? ;)

I got "Anne Rice is writing your life. Go you goth girl, go." It would have been more accurate a few years ago, but still.
I'm included in the 34% of people who came out with Flannery O'Connor! It seems there are quite a few of us who think the same way! lol
Nymeth, looks like you and Rhinoa can form your own club. Dust off those black boots. ;)
Carol, let me guess...you like lemonade, small towns, and good men. :D
I got Jane Austen, but I was skewing my answers a little. Thanks for the fun quiz!
