The b-day was nice. We saw Hannibal Rising, ate at The Boiling Point (cajun), and ended our night at Books-a-Million. Oh, and he got me two pairs of hand-crafted earings. He done good! :)

Yes, Iliana, books were the highlight of our date. We saved the bookstore for last. So, we did movie, dinner, and bookstore...
Well, I got Lonesome Dove for the Chunkster Challenge, I got The Pearl for the Classic Challenge, and I scored Uncle Tom's Cabin for my personal academic challenge. My husband also bought, under my direction, The Book Club Companion for later use.
Sort of a boring list, but I have really great non-fics stacked all over the house, so I'm in heaven.
