Born Today in 1880!

Our very own Alabamian, Helen Keller!

Literature is my Utopia. Here I am not disenfranchised. No barrier of the senses shuts me out from the sweet, gracious discourses of my book friends. They talk to me without embarrassment or awkwardness.

  1. Another great one by H.K.--"I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble."
We're from the same place--Tuscumbia--our claim to fame. :)

Good one Tiffany! She's one smart cookie.

We can all make a difference if we just remember it takes little steps to get there. Are there any tru overnight sensations? ;D
